The Miss Kaogma candidates donning their Kaogma Festival Costume Candidate No. 6 Rhianne Macy N. Zapata from Naga City, Camarines Sur
DESIGNER: Polly Lagyap
The design is a heartfelt tribute to Camarines Sur, capturing the region's essence with meticulous craftsmanship. The iconic Pili nut, symbolizing prosperity and heritage, takes center stage. Each Pili nut tells a story, depicting locals' cherished activities and reflecting the vibrant culture and joyous spirit of Cam Sur.
Intricate fabric manipulation techniques were used to recreate the texture of the Pili, ensuring every detail embodies its essence. Soft fabric folds and delicate rubber lace contours encapsulate Cam Sur's warmth and vitality. Additionally, accents of locally sourced Abaca fabric and handcrafted wooden beads emphasize our commitment to celebrating the province's rich heritage and traditional craftsmanship. These materials add depth and texture, symbolizing the profound connection between the people of Cam Sur and their joyous environment.
See you tomorrow at the coronation night!
