
📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY: MINOR SEA-LEVEL DISTURBANCE

To all residents of Camarines Sur, especially those in coastal and low-lying areas:
PHIVOLCS has released Tsunami Information No. 2 following an 8.7 magnitude earthquake off the east coast of Kamchatka, Russia. While no destructive tsunami is expected, minor sea-level changes may be observed along the Philippine eastern coastline, including parts of CamSur.
The first wave may arrive between 1:20 PM to 2:40 PM today, July 30, 2025. These may continue for several hours.
As a precaution:
Avoid going to the beach or the coast for now
Stay alert and follow official updates
If your home is near the shoreline, move slightly inland
Boat owners should secure vessels or stay in deep water
This is a precautionary advisory. There is no cause for panic, but let us all stay safe, stay calm, and stay informed.
