The sea, vast, unknowable, and volatile, serves as the backdrop for myths, tales, and speculation about what lies beneath the surface. This costume is inspired by the ocean, with a palette of oceanic blues that pervade the loose trail, spliced body details, shiny stones, and more literal elements. Water symbolizes newness, freshness, and cleansing. The costume, in a fitted and flowing ocean blue color, is designed to look luminous. The ruching detailing on the gown's bottom is carefully handcrafted and adorned with incredible pearl detailing at the bodice. The sleeves draw inspiration from coral reefs, adding to the overall heavenly allure of the whole look. Like the sea itself, inconstant and metamorphic, the ocean's current presence in this costume offers many things at once: refuge, escapism, potential resources, potent dystopias, and a way of grappling with an uncertain future. This costume is derived from the Philippine mythical creature, the Sea Goddess "Amansinaya."

See you tomorrow at the coronation night!
