Tinutulak namin ngayon nina Cong Lray Villafuerte at Cong Brian Yamsuan ng Bicol Saro Partylist sa Kamara ang batas na ganapin ang susunod na barangay elections sa October 2026 imbes na sa December 2025. Ito ay alinsunod sa Local Government Code na nagsasaad na ang termino ng barangay at SK officials ay nararapat na tatlong (3) taon.
Ang batas na ito ay magbibigay daan upang mas mapalawig pa ng mga nahalal na opisyal noong 2023 ang kanilang serbisyo at mapagpatuloy ang mga programang nasimulan sa mas naaayong panahon at termino.
