
π€π DICT Bicol and GMVCC Join Forces to Bridge the Digital Divide Through Project CLICK π‘π»

With its mission to champion digital literacy and foster digital bayanihan through Project CLICK, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region 5, in partnership with Governor Mariano E. Villafuerte Community College (GMVCC) Libmanan, distributed a total of 50 laptops to its college students on May 2, 2025.
βThe Project CLICK is an initiative rooted in our commitment to build an inclusive, digitally empowered nation. More than just the equipment, we are handing over tools for digital transformation. We can use this equipment to unlock our potential, develop our basic skills in using computers, enhance our learning, and prepare our youth to thrive in the rapidly digital-evolving world,β shared DICT Region 5 OIC Regional Director Rachel Ann Grabador.
Apart from the laptops, DICT will also conduct a series of digital training sessions with topics on cyber security, cyber hygiene, and responsible use of social media. Productivity tools and the proper use of Microsoft Office will also be covered to help students equip themselves with the skills, confidence, and awareness to navigate the digital world wisely and responsibly.
