The Provincial Government of Camarines Sur is bestowed with Vulcan Award by the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office V during its 74th Anniversary Stakeholders Award Ceremony held today, May 9, 2025, at Legazpi City Convention Center.

This award is a distinct Bicolano honor given to the dedicated staff of DSWD and its partner agencies, recognizing their efforts in providing compassionate and inclusive public service. Inspired by the Mayon Volcano, a symbol of resilience and strength in Bicol, it highlights the commitment of individuals who exemplify these qualities in their work.

As one of DSWD’s Disaster Response Management Division (DRMD) partner, the Vulcan Award reflects the Provincial Government’s vital contribution to disaster response efforts and commitment to safeguarding the safety and welfare of our people during times of crisis.
